CTI Solves Problem Of Bank Branches Failing Cards

Friday 23 October 2009

One of our clients recently had several cards returned to it's branch, that were failing to read properly following issue. CTI carried out a Problem Analysis Review on the returned cards, in order to establish why the cards were failing. The problem was found to lie with the particular hardware used at the bank branch, responsible for writing data back onto the card. Our client has since instructed that the hardware concerned is serviced.

Problem Analysis Reports aim to pinpoint the cause of read failure of a card, whether it is a problem with the physical Card Stock itself, the data written to the card by the Manufacturer, or data written by the card issuers own hardware.
